Jason Mengel is a seasoned Championship Director at the PGA of America with a career spanning over a decade and a half since November 2009.  He is the Championship Director for next years 2027 PGA Championship being held in Frisco. Key achievements include directing the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, the 2025 KPMG Women's PGA Championship, as well serving as the Director for the 2020 Ryder Cup and Championship Director for multiple PGA Championships in 2013, 2015, 2017.  Prior experience includes roles as Sales and Marketing Director for the Buick Open at R*Works and Operations Manager for the 2008 PGA Championship. Additional experience includes account management in the golf sector and internship in media relations and marketing, Jason holds a BBA in Advertising and Promotion from Western Michigan University.
