Last week we heard from Lt Col (Ret) Richard “Dick” Peasley. Dick used the day as a way to honor a Frisco resident, and Marine veteran, Charlie Pearson.  Mr. Pearson served in the Pacific Theater during World II and graduated from Texas A&M.  His experience in war, had a significant impact on the rest of his life.  Many Frisco landmarks are named for Mr. Pearson, Charles B. Pearson Middle School, Pearson Farms, Pearson Acres Park, and Pearson Park for example.  Mr. Pearson passed November 6, 2015 at the age of 93.
