We had a great meeting at Collin College Technical College, Kone Conference Center. Lunch was catered and enjoyed by all. Dr. Brenden Mesch, Interim Provost, provided an update on Programs for High Demand High Wage Careers.

September 15, 2022 - Touring the Collin College Campus
September 15, 2022 meeting was well attended and we enjoyed hearing from Mr. Andrew Hardin, Collin County Board of Trusties Chairman and Dr. Brenden Mesch, Interim Provost at Collin Country College. Collin County College Technical Campus is a 340,00 Square Foot, three story, four building campus on 34-acre site. The college serves approximately 7,100 traditional, dual credit, and continuing education students.
Following lunch, we had the opportunity to tour the facility and learn about the partnerships between industry and the college. Areas of focus include construction engineering technology, automotive technology, collision technology, welding, and health cared. Students have the opportunity to graduate with industry-recognized certifications and college credits toward Associate of Applied Science degrees.
