Jill Scigliano is the CEO at The Samaritan Inn, in McKinney, Texas. Joining the team in 2021, Jill was excited to move back to the local McKinney area, having formerly been a resident of McKinney. Jill’s passion for nonprofit service and leadership, coupled with a desire to enable fellow neighbors build a more stable life made for a perfect match.
Jill was formerly the Executive Director of the Residential program at My Possibilities, serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities find permanent housing solutions. She also formerly worked with Wise Resource Development as an independent consultant for nonprofits and startups. Previous to that, Jill was the Chief Operating Officer for The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC), a nonprofit created to help entrepreneurs create, build and grow their businesses.
Jill’s professional history includes various positions in nonprofits and startups. From educational nonprofits, like YMCA, to intensive-care settings, like in-home crisis therapy for youths and their families. Jill has worked with juvenile offenders at Café Momentum. She also spent working with the DC court system for adults with developmental disabilities helped her see the value of creating quality systems and the need for systemic change. Jill was the Chief Impact Officer at The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas for 8 years, where she oversaw impact work in Education, Income, and Health.
Jill is a native of Pennsylvania but has lived in DFW for over 14 years, and she considers herself an unofficial Texan now. She enjoys time spent with her partner, Mike, her 3 dogs, reading fiction, listening to podcasts, watching BBC shows, hiking, doing “Introvert Stuff”, and mentoring young professionals.
