Charlotte Alger

Assistance League® of Greater Collin County

Ms. Alger has been a Texan since 1979! She built two medical laboratories in Dallas and has a degree in Medical Technology. She later pursued a career in medical sales and marketing. At the end of her career, she was responsible for introducing Personalized Medicine to North America, specializing in non-small cell lung cancer and colon cancer. 

She loves skiing, yoga, traveling and gardening. She has two sons and four granchildren.

The Assistance League of Greater Collin County is a nonprofit, philanthropic organization whose dedicated volunteers transform the lives of children and adults through community programs. The organization has been a steady presence in Collin County since 1996. Founded in 1996 as a guild, the chapter started with thirteen enthusiastic women. In 1997, National Assistance League selected Operation School Bell® as a national program for each chapter to implement in their community.

In October 1998 the guild completed the requirements to become the 103rd chapter of National Assistance League.

Andre Patterson

Photobiomodulation

Andre Patterson is a technologist by trade, but a multi-faceted entrepreneur at heart and in practice. He grew up in Plano and moved to Austin and attended the University of Texas to obtain a BBA in Management Information Systems. He ascended through the ranks to become an architect for one of the largest eCommerce websites in the world, then moved over to high tech software sales. The conception of XscapePain began about five years ago when he and his family were introduced to a groundbreaking technology that addresses the biochemical effects of aging, with the ultimate goal of biohacking the human body to live longer. This knowledge was further expanded when being introduced to Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMt) also known as Red Light Therapy.

Tracie Reveal Shipman

Servant Leadership

Tracie Reveal Shipman is the Owner of Many Voices, a company devoted to providing facilitation services, team development, customized training, and leadership coaching. Since 1984, Tracie has focused her energy and enthusiasm on building purpose, passion, and performance in the lives of her clients.
From her consumer-education days as the Public Relations Manager at the only university-run Better Business Bureau in the country, to her work as an award-winning adjunct instructor for MBAs at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, Tracie has dedicated her professional career to the development of others.
     As a leader and project manager at Electronic Data Systems, Tracie was responsible for designing and facilitating leadership and organizational change programs; developing and leading Innovation Lab initiatives; and creating and consulting on communication implementation strategies for new human resource tools and processes to be used globally throughout the organization.
     Over the span of her career, Tracie has created, customized, and delivered thousands of hours of content for leaders and teams for a wide variety of clients—from high tech corporations such as EDS, Texas Instruments, Sabre-Holdings, and Alcon Laboratories, to high touch organizations such as USAA, the Center for Non-profit Management, and SMU. In collaboration with industry leaders including Marsha Clark & Associates, Power+Systems, Inc., Entelechy, and Lumina Learning, Tracie continues to strengthen and support the development of power, presence, and awareness in leaders. Participants of all her programs love her energy, her spontaneity, her subject-matter expertise, and her ability to make the material she’s presenting relevant, meaningful, and fun.
     In addition to her work with organizations, Tracie has also served as an elected official for the City of Frisco, TX. She was elected to two terms as a Council Member and was appointed by her peers as the Mayor Pro-tem for two terms. She was instrumental in developing the city’s 20-year strategic vision in 1996 and helped to create Frisco’s first Code of Ethics. She served as the Vice-Chair of the nationally recognized Frisco Comprehensive Planning Advisory Committee and was appointed by the City Council to serve as a Board Member of the Frisco Community Development Corporation, the Charter Review Commission and the Visit Frisco Board.
     Tracie graduated from Viterbo University with a Master of Arts in Servant Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Ethical Leadership in Organizations. She is also a graduate of the MIT Organizational Learning Center’s Leading Learning Communities program. Her obtained her Bachelor of Science in Marketing degree from Ball State University, graduating at the top of her class. She is a Board-Certified Coach and is also an ACC-level Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.

Ron Patterson

Frisco Economic Development Update

Ron Patterson is the President of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation with the City of Frisco, Texas where he works in a collaborative environment on business development, expansion, retention and relocation. He also works on public-private partnerships between the city and various other public and private entities. Ron has more than thirty-two years of city experience starting his city service career with the City of Carrollton before moving to Frisco. This is his second time to serve the citizens of Frisco and now has served Frisco for a total of more than twenty years. He also served as city manager for seven years in other communities in Texas.

Ron graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and completed his Master of Public Administration at the University of North Texas. He served twenty-three years in the United States Air Force/Texas Air National Guard. Ron has been married for thirty-five years to Taylor and they have two daughters.
