LifePath Systems’ mission is to serve individuals and families impacted by behavioral health, intellectual or developmental challenges, resulting in stronger communities. The agency was created as the Collin County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center in 1986. The Collin County Commissioners Court established the center in response to recommendations from a blue ribbon task force on residents’ unmet needs for Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities care. UNT's Military History Center
Nov. 19, 2020 12:00 p.m.
Dr. Michael V. Leggiere is the Deputy Director of the Military History Center at the Universsity of North Texas, which seeks to be the premier destination in the United States for the study of Military History. THE IMPORTANCE OF MILITARY HISTORY Since the Vietnam War, opportunities for American students to study military history in a serious way have receded owing to a general rejection of war studies at the university level. Military history -- the driver of world politics -- has either been removed from curricula, or diluted to an almost unrecognizable form. The opposite trend is underway at UNT. UNT's commitment to the research, teaching and public presentation of military history has made our Military History Center an international leader in the field. Join Zoom Meeting |

"Building better humans"
Dec. 10, 2020 12:00 p.m.
William K. Sampson From a conversation I had with my dad on a road trip in the middle of the night a spark for personal development was born. Dad shared with me that he and my Grandad had had a terrible relationship. My dad shared that by the time he’d developed enough emotional intelligence to understand that he was part of the problem, grandad was gone. He was never able to work on that relationship. He committed to me that he wanted to change the cycle with my brother and I. I’d love to say that the change was immediate and dramatic but, it was not. It has been an ongoing process that is still ongoing. Allow me to come along beside you as a fellow traveler and change the reality for your next generation. Join Zoom Meeting |
