![]() American Cancer Society
Jan 16, 2020
Hey Y’all! My name is Jillian Phillips and I am the American Cancer Society Community Development Manager for Plano, Richardson, Frisco, Hunt County, and Rowlett I was born and raised in Fort Worth and am proud to be a Texan. I graduated from the University of Colorado, and while I was there, I stayed involved in nonprofit work through my sorority, and some of my classes. I even interned for a nonprofit called Sparkrelief.org that provided services for people displaced due to natural disasters. I love working for nonprofits and helping communities come together to support one another and make a difference. My love of service is one of the many reasons I am so excited to be a part of the Frisco Rotary Club. As a Community Manager, I organize fundraising events for the ACS and find such joy in spending time with the community members that help bring the events together. Hearing people’s personal stories of how cancer has touched their lives and how the ACS has helped their families, makes me extremely proud to be in the position I am. |
