The Movie Institute (or “MI“) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of young people for positive character growth and successful career development by providing mentoring and training for success. The Movie Institute also produces professional digital films and videos through the mentoring process for businesses, charities and individuals.

Using the disciplines and tools of the Motion Media (motion pictures/film, video, animation and video games), The Movie Institute accomplishes a three prong approach to executing its mission

  1. To train all young people in necessary/needed life skills utilizing the disciplines of the Moving Image;
    1. To find and train those that are interested and talented in the Motion Media arts and sciences industry for success in that field.
    2. To create professional content as a training tool for both adults and youth.
